The workshop will include a warmup (whole brain activation\, dance and movement)\, AUM chanting\, releasing tension in the face\, breathwork and final meditation. SOMA™Music will be used to guide and enhance your experience. Benefits include improved overall feeling of well-being\, increased energy and stamina.  \n\n\n\nThe workshop is facilitated by Joy Kingsbury MS OTR/L\, RYT-200\, Level 1 Certified Soma™ Breath Instructor. We are working to continually expand our offerings and reach more communities. \n\n\n\nDespite the rain\, last year was an amazing success at a beautiful new location. DESCRIPTION:The Town of Scituate\, Scituate FACTS Coalition\, and South Shore Peer Recovery announce a service on International Overdose Awareness Day\, Tuesday\, August 31\, 2021 at 5:45am at the Old Scituate Lighthouse.\n\nThe Scituate service is open to all communities and will acknowledge police officers\, firefighters\, emergency room workers\, individuals in recovery\, and members of the community groups who have been working to reduce fatal overdoses and help those who still suffer.\n\nThe non-sectarian service will begin at 5:45am on the jetty\, and will include words of remembrance from family members\, and acoustic music performed by local musicians. Information on grief support\, Narcan access\, as well as treatment and recovery resources\, will be available before and after the service in the resource tent in the parking lot. Rain or shine.\n\n\nFree and confidential Narcan is available to potential bystanders from Manet Community Health. Outreach specialist Kelsey Foley will be available immediately after the service to provide life saving info and medication. If you prefer to meet back at the recovery center\, Narcan will be available there from about 6:45-7:30am.
