SOMA Breathwork Workshop

Join us at SSPR for a SOMA breathwork workshop followed by tea and community time.
The Energized Meditation Routine is designed to release tension from the body, boost your mood, and be a super-effective breathwork meditation.
Some Benefits of breathwork include decreased stress, decrease in anxiety and depression, balances two sides of the autonomic nervous system, creates better circulation and blood flow, boosts immune, cardiovascular and respiratory system, creates smooth digestion, boosts energy and mood levels, generates peace.
Gratitude and high vibrational energy are key components to the energized meditation workshop. The workshop will include a warmup (whole brain activation, dance and movement), AUM chanting, releasing tension in the face, breathwork and final meditation. SOMA™Music will be used to guide and enhance your experience. Benefits include improved overall feeling of well-being, increased energy and stamina.
The workshop is facilitated by Joy Kingsbury MS OTR/L, RYT-200, Level 1 Certified Soma™ Breath Instructor. Joy is an occupational therapist who has facilitated yoga and meditation classes for 15 years. She is also a grateful person in recovery.
