Recovery Rocks is our major annual fundraiser that brings together individuals and families in recovery, local musicians and the community to support our amazing cause. A night of hope, community, connection and fun, Recovery Rocks has grown into a celebration of recovery.
Our annual budget is dependent on fundraising and Recovery Rocks meets 80 percent of that need – all dollars raised go directly to adding recovery supports at SSPR. We are working to continually expand our offerings and reach more communities. Please consider supporting our mission today!

All day of logistical and parking details will be provided following ticket purchase. Please note in your planning, parking is limited on-site, and we encourage parties to carpool if possible.

Annual Overdose Awareness Sunrise Vigil
The Town of Scituate, Scituate FACTS Coalition, and South Shore Peer Recovery welcome all to a annual service on International Overdose Awareness Day, August 31 at the Old Scituate Lighthouse, 100 Lighthouse Road, Scituate Harbor.
The Scituate service acknowledges police officers, firefighters, emergency room workers, treatment providers, individuals in recovery, and members of the community groups who have been working to reduce fatal overdoses and help those who still suffer.
All communities are welcome, as we remember together. Information on grief support, Narcan access, as well as treatment and recovery resources, are available before and after the service in the resource tent in the parking lot. Rain or shine.
Annual Holiday Give Back Party
Every December, South Shore Peer Recovery invites the community to enjoy some holiday cheer while supporting those in need at our Holiday Give Back Party! Gifts donated at the party will benefit children, mothers and men at Angel House, a residence for women recovering w/ their children in Hyannis and South Shore Recovery Home, a men’s halfway house in Quincy. Our Holiday Give Back Party is an amazing evening of fun and holiday spirit! Stop in the first Tuesday of December for live music, cocoa, cookies & holiday cheer!
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Mark your calendars! Participating in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade has become an annual tradition here at South Shore Peer Recovery. There’s lots of partying that goes on on St. Patrick’s Day… but being in recovery doesn’t exclude you from celebrating and having fun. Join us on our annual alcohol-free, substance-free, family-friendly march through town to support Scituate and raise recovery awareness!
